The 2021 FIFA Arab Cup event took place from 30 November to 18 December 2021, as a prelude to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. This highly anticipated tournament offered a great opportunity for competitors and spectators alike to experience the spirit of Qatar and the iconic stadiums that will host the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
Kholoud successfully spearheaded the Catering Programme Team, that managed the catering service providers for Client Groups such as VVIP/VIP, workforce and other Stadium for 2021 FIFA Arab Cup. Under her proactive leadership and decisive direction, this high-profile event concluded with a profound legacy for Qatar as the host country. Following the success of 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, Kholoud will once again showcase her astute expertise by leading the Catering Programme for FIFA World Cup 2022 at a much larger scale with additional sites and venues where catering services shall be provided.
Aspire Katara Hospitality (AKH) has been designated as the organization, officially responsible for the delivery of catering services management across majority of the sites and venues for FIFA World Cup 2022. As the Chief Executive Officer of AKH, she selectively assembled a team of experienced international catering experts to proficiently manage this project with her. The scale of this task is huge with a total of approximately 500 venues expected to be catered with food and beverage, to close to 2 million international visitors and a similar number of Qatari citizens and residents.
Presented with an immense task, her strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will no doubt provide substantial contribution of world-class standards in catering services management. Her solid proficiency in handling events provides assurance and confidence in the effective implementation of sports event catering strategies, including but not limited to food safety, logistics, operational plans, menu selection, hospitality experience and sustainability to meet and comply with FIFA’s set of global standards and regulations.
